Sorry if we made you hungry by referencing cake, which you probably can’t get to right now. Our stomach is growling not just for a slice of something heavenly, but for a little bit of quiet in this storm.

Instead of pub crawling, drinking green beer and parade watching, we will try to work from home, home school our children (ha!), go on nature hikes, wash our hands until they are cracked, disinfect all surfaces, search for toilet paper, and stop touching our faces.

The Upside To Social Distancing

It’s Sunday, and instead of looking at images of empty grocery store shelves on social media and reading panic inducing stories online, I decided to clean out my linen closet, set up a “home schooling” schedule for my kids for the upcoming week, and make Pho in my insta-pot.

I will remain chill knowing I am doing my part by practicing social distancing. I will wait for this wave to pass. Because it will.

A CHILL vibe can be just as contagious as a virus.
